STL Airport Pickup: Cell Phone Lot, Garage or a Chauffeur

There are four ways to handle an STL airport pickup: wait in a free cell phone lot, park in a terminal garage, have the traveler order a rideshare, or send a car. Black Car Service airport car service starts at $100 in the Cadillac XT6 or Lyriq, and the chauffeur follows the flight, so nobody at home has to watch an arrivals board. Below is how each option works at Lambert, based on the rules the airport publishes on flystl.com.

Which terminal is the flight landing at?

Lambert has two terminals, so check the airline first; our STL Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 guide has the gate numbers. The airline list on flystl.com puts American, Delta, United, Alaska, Air Canada and Southern Airways Express at Terminal 1. Southwest is at Terminal 2, and British Airways and Lufthansa use gate E29 in Terminal 2, where international arrivals come in.

Option 1: the free cell phone lots

Each terminal has its own cell phone waiting lot, and waiting there is free. The Terminal 1 lot is at 10985 Lambert International Blvd, and the Terminal 2 lot is at 9837 Air Cargo Road. The lots matter because of the curb rule: flystl.com says vehicles are not permitted to remain stopped in the arrivals areas of Terminal 1 or Terminal 2. Wait in the lot until the traveler says they are outside with their bags, then drive to the curb.

Option 2: park in a terminal garage

0 to 2 hours$5$5
2 to 4 hours$14$14
4 to 6 hours$20$20
6 to 12 hours$26$27
12 to 24 hours$31$33

These rates are from flystl.com, took effect July 1, 2026, and include tax. You pay when you exit. If a delayed flight keeps you past two hours, the charge jumps from $5 to $14.

Option 3: rideshare

If the traveler would rather order a rideshare, flystl.com lists the pickup points as Door 6 on the Departures level at Terminal 1 and Door 12 on the Arrivals level at Terminal 2.

Option 4: send a chauffeur

With a booked car, nobody leaves the house. Your chauffeur waits in the commercial ground transportation area on the arrivals level and texts the traveler the exact spot once the flight is on the ground. If you would like them met inside, ask for meet and greet when you book, and the chauffeur waits at baggage claim with a name sign and helps with the bags.
