Lambert Airport Parking vs a Car Service: What Your Trip Really Costs
Parking at St. Louis Lambert costs $12 to $33 a day depending on where you park, based on the airport's rates effective July 1, 2026. For a short trip, parking usually costs less than a car service. Once a trip runs about a week, a flat-rate car service in a Cadillac XT6 or Lyriq costs less than the terminal garages, and you skip the shuttle and the walk to your car.
Lambert airport parking rates in 2026
| Where you park | Daily rate (12 to 24 hours) | Getting to the terminal |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal 1 garage | $31 | Walk to Terminal 1 |
| Terminal 2 garage | $33 | Walk to Terminal 2 |
| Lot B | $14 | Shuttle every 8 to 15 minutes |
| Lot C, covered | $15 | Shuttle every 8 to 15 minutes |
| Lot C, uncovered | $12 | Shuttle every 8 to 15 minutes |
These rates come from flystl.com and include tax. The airport suggests allowing 30 extra minutes when you park in a lot and ride the shuttle, and the shuttles run 24 hours a day.
What a car service costs for the same trip
Our airport car service uses flat rates based on distance, and you see the exact price for your address before you pay. Airport rides start at $100 each way in the Cadillac XT6 or Lyriq and $125 each way in the Cadillac Escalade ESV, so a round trip starts at $200. Flight status monitoring and meet and greet are included.
Where the break-even point is
| Trip length | Terminal 1 garage | Terminal 2 garage | Lot C, uncovered | Car service round trip (from) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 days | $93 | $99 | $36 | $200 |
| 5 days | $155 | $165 | $60 | $200 |
| 7 days | $217 | $231 | $84 | $200 |
| 10 days | $310 | $330 | $120 | $200 |
Parking is counted as full days at the 12 to 24 hour rate. The parking figures leave out gas, wear on your car and the drive itself.
On cost alone, the economy lots win for almost any trip length, and the terminal garages stop being the cheaper option at about a week.
When a car service is worth it on a shorter trip
- ●You are traveling as a group. An Escalade ESV seats up to 6, so one flat fare split several ways often costs less per person than parking one car.
- ●You land late at night and would rather not find your car in a lot and drive home tired.
- ●You have an early flight and want to skip the shuttle and the extra 30 minutes the airport suggests for it.
- ●You would rather not leave your car at the airport for days.
How to decide
A short solo trip on a budget: park in Lot B or Lot C. A trip of a week or longer, a group, or a late arrival: a flat-rate car service often costs about the same or less and saves the hassle.
